Getting Started: Experience Creator

Experience Creator is where you set up your TVX app. This includes: UI Design, + Section and + Content, as well as Notification Wizard (where you schedule out push notifications), Banners (to create banner groups), and Ad Center (your ad settings).

Once your in UI Design, you'll be able to design nearly every aspect of your UI, by toggling the top right options.

UI Design:

Choose your General Interface, Saved Section, Subscriptions, User Registration, Top Shelf and Video Settings UI. We will dive deeper into each option in more in depth articles.

Once you choose your UI Design, you can start building out your app. Create +Section and +Content, choose the icons, choose your content type, choose your app themes. This is the fun part!

+Section is how you begin creating the content silos for your app. First you Name your section (can be anything, from Latest, Popular, Series, Seasons, Recipes, Exercises, Daily... whatever you want). And choose the Content Type: MRSS, Feed Builder, Live Video, Simulated Live Video, and Vimeo.

From there, you put in your feed images, choose the platform visibility, and whether you want to show banners or advertisements.

Once you've created a few Sections, you can make them Active, and edit them per platform, and if you click into a specific one, you can edit the design and add content (or create sub-sections for more in depth hierarchy). In this example, we click into the "5 Minute Yoga" section and can see the MRSS Content Sub-Sections.

If you choose "Edit Design" you are prompted to choose the Layout you want, the Thumbnail Orientation, Background Type and Logo. This may seem like you just did this in "App Design" but you can edit each Section's design, so you may have very specific branding per Section.

We will go much more in depth on Section and Content in posts dedicated just to those! For now, welcome to App Creator.
